Pakistan camp ahead of Afghanistan ODI series kicks off in Lahore

The three ODIs will be played on August 22, 24, 26

The players, who are available in Pakistan, have started training ahead of Afghanistan ODI series, set to start on August 22 in Sri Lanka. 

Abdullah Shafique, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Salman Ali Agha and Saud Shakeel have started the training in Lahore today. 

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also invited eight additional players which include Abbas Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, Arshad Iqbal, Mohammad Imran Jnr, Mohammad Umar, Sufyan Muqeem, Mehran Mumtaz and Qasim Akram.

Haris Rauf, Mohammad Rizwan, Tayyab Tahir and Shaheen Afridi will arrive in Lahore on 16 August for the departure on 17 August.

The players, who are participating in the Lanka Premier League (LPL), will join the team in Hambantota.

Camp schedule on remaining days

15 August – The players will train from 9am till 12pm. Afterwards, squad member will be available for media interaction. Media is invited to cover the session

17 August – Pakistan team will depart for Sri Lanka from Lahore
